Jaye holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Concordia University. She is a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), with aspirations to join the Order of Counsellors of Quebec (OCCOQ).

Jaye’s primary focus is on providing support to adolescents, young adults, and individuals across diverse age groups facing a spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, depression, body image, interpersonal conflicts, and trauma.

At the core of Jaye’s philosophy is the belief in the transformative potential inherent in each individual’s life She is committed to fostering an environment characterized by empathy, non-judgment, and compassion to facilitate growth for her clients. Jaye employs a collaborative therapeutic approach, integrating techniques such as cognitive-behavioural therapy and dialectical behavioural therapy. Continuing her commitment to professional development, Jaye is currently focusing on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and holds certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) from EMDRIA. While I often use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR therapy, I tailor my methods to align with your specific therapeutic goals.

I have experience working with a diverse group of clients, including children, adolescents, families, young adults, and adults. My practice supports individuals navigating various challenges such as stress management, school-related anxiety, low self-esteem, performance anxiety, social anxiety, relationship issues, and grief.
